Raising Awareness for the Bezos Earth Fund with a Custom Exhibit
Bezos Earth Fund – The Challenge:
Our challenge was to design a custom activation exhibit for the Bezos Earth Fund, with a primary goal of increasing awareness at a busy conference. The exhibit needed to convey the organization’s purpose effectively in a short window of time, targeting attendees who were quickly moving between sessions at the Vancouver Convention Centre. With limited time for engagement, we had to create a compelling, visually striking display that captured attention and communicated the Earth Fund’s mission at a glance.
Scope of Work:
- Thorough analysis of client’s objectives
- Create a compelling space that stops traffic and quickly provides awareness through minimal content with stunning visuals
- Create motion visuals in a unique presentation that piques curiosity long enough to deliver the core message in minutes or even seconds
- Provide and open easy flow environment that allows visitors with a little more time to walk through the exhibit and gain more information on key topics
- Include a simple station for visitors to stop, have a quick chat and scan a bar code for more information
- Equally represent the three main topics Climate, People, Nature
Our Process:
- Considering the large open hallway and the location of the designated exhibit, consider traffic flow and avenues of approach
- Develop an open, highly visual and intriguing design that delivers the core message with or without entering the walk-through experience
- Research the latest technology that can present the concept in an unusual and powerful format
The Solution:
- Architecture was designed to create 3 arches, each arch representing Climate, People and Nature
- Visible from front and sides, a band of five monitors were knit together to feature a unique presentation of moving content
- Inside the tunnel, each arch presented specific content on each of the three topics
- Each curved arch came to life with vivid backlit imagery surrounding the visitor
- A 16’ x 15’ mural of the earth formed the perfect and recognizable iconic backdrop to the presentation
